Inclusive Movement-Building Workshop

Join us for a full-day workshop that will introduce participants to ideas and practices that can help us build stronger, more inclusive organizations – organizations that are truly open and relevant to as many people as possible.

The participatory workshop will begin to explore how racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism and other systems of oppression can show up in our social movements, and provide tools to support organizers in building more inclusive movements -- by understanding our own relationships to systems of oppression, and learning practical skills to make spaces more inclusive.

Accessibility info: the venue and washrooms are accessible to wheelchairs and other mobility devices. Unfortunately, the washrooms are gendered. This is a scent-free space, so please refrain from wearing fragrances. If you have any questions or requests around accessibility please email [email protected]
